ytd was the 10th NUS lifesaving invitational championship..
15 teams participated this yr, break the record sia..
saw some familiar faces here and dere, saw coach jeremy too..
haha, he's as usual, always motivating us and giving us advices on how to coach a team..
though some were not taught to us during my batch, it is still useful coz can use on the next few batches of juniors.
largely due to the fact dat AC team does not have a proper coach, we didn't do very well this yr, though many have broken their own PB..
came in 10th overall, though the position for guys and girls team were 9th respectively and a total of 8 DQs..
well, i felt really bad and guilty for not being able to help them sustain the position, not fulfilling my job well as a senior or even a trainer..
the largest mistake we made was not to brief them on the rules and regulations, resulting in so many DQs..
and when they broke down in front of me, all i could say was just "relax..chill..it's not entirely ur fault"..
It was really a depressing weekend for many of us, the team and those who went to train them, i think it was truly demoralising..
Like wad i told the team, every mistake is a lesson learnt for all of us, this yr we've made alot of painful mistakes, so rest assured that AC lg team next yr will stand out strong, stronger than this yr, coz we'll learn from our mistakes and we'll more effectively train the next few batches...
we'll show the rest that even without a proper coach, we can still do well, we can still shine in the comp.
