time flies...
one year has passed, ever since the day we stepped into the HTA as CI-T
as i sat on the bus today,
those memories flash across my mind vividly,
like as if everything was just yesterday...
on the 8th dec 2006,
181 CI-Ts began their journey as CIs..
to some of us, it was very demoralising to find out that we are not grouped according to area..
instead, they grouped us randomly..
6 groups were formed, namely..
ALPHA
BRAVO
CHARLIE
DELTA
ECHO
FALCON!!
we had no choice but to accept it and bear with it throughout the whole course
i admit, it was tough..
being a CI-T was very tiring to me..
besides lessons and drills,
at night, my bunkmates and I had to copy lines as punishment..
to the extent that we had only 4 hours of sleep..
either slping at 10 and woke up at 2 or slping at 12(which is not allowed) and woke up at 4...
either way wasnt pleasant at all..
the kind of fatigue that one has to go through despite all the lessons..
at the end of the 9-day residential course...
can say i'm mentally dead...
after that,
came 4 days of horrendous ATC..
one which gave me nightmares...
throughout the camp, it was raining,
but we still had to carry on with activities,
the land ex at that time was more of water ex,
since all of us are walking in muddy water most of the time..
at the end of 4 days,
all our feet are rotting,
i could even remove the outermost layer of my skin,
would nvr forget the water-logged feet that we had...
after the 10 days,
it's like the end of a 3 month BMT..
actually i enjoyed the last 2 days the most,
coz just the thought of wearing the first class u makes me feel so excited..
on the day of POP,
it was the day i felt so smart wearing a NPCC uni, esp the no, 1 u..
that may be the end of the CIBTC for all D06 ppl,
but nvr the end for falcon peeps..
the 16 days dat we spent tgt as a squad..
the 384 hrs that we spent laughing and making fun of CIIs..
the 23040mins that we spent knowing each other...
the 1382400sec that formed the bond between each and every one of us...
all in all, I will nvr forget the 29 of u who made me enjoy the course
and not regret being a CI..
I'm proud to be a member of CIBTC D06..
but more imptly....
I feel proud being a member of FALCON!!!
HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FALCON & D06!!!
