During a mission, when the commander and sgts are down and the whole det is left with men, usually dats where the morale drops all the way down and the whole det is stuck dere...
but my det has proven the other way round during the recent missions, with our PC and PS down will illness and the highest rank in the det is only cpl..
no one said it was going to be easy, but no one said it's not possible..
though we took a longer time than the rest of the teams and partly due to my sprained ankle, we still complete the entire exercise...
sprained my ankle on the first mission, thought i just twisted my ankle, so carried on, until the 3rd mission, fell into alot of potholes and my ankle got worse, walked with pain during the second day and today's 8km route march...
life in battalion wasn't easy at all...
had our first IPPT test in battalion and it was my lousiest score ever, the demoralising feeling just sets in my heart, kept asking myself the reason to such lousy score, but i couldn't find any...
made a decision which will make me regret for the rest of my millitary life, a decision that can cause me to sign the most number of extra duties in battalion, a decision that only allows me to slp 4-5hrs a day only, a decision that can easily bring me down....
6months into army life, from the day i stepped into cdo TI, i noe that my only aim is to get the red beret coz dere will be no U-turn from that moment onwards...
the journey before stepping into battalion was no doubt the slacker part, but the actual hell starts when we stepped into battalion and all the hell last till oct when we get our red beret.
till then, i'm not sure if i will survive this 3months, i have very little confidence in my own mental strength.
wanted alot to meet up wif friends from np and lg, but from last week onwards, i only have 24hrs of book-out time every week which is extremely precious for me, i guess for these 3 months, i had to forgo all the outings and gatherings. sorry guys. meanwhile, hope the girls will enjoy their new uni life and for guys, let's suck it up and press on yea!!
