the 7 immortals :P
140103 - The day we enter RV NPCC unit..
"Why are we here??" many ppl would ask that. out of the 6 cadets dat went on to become Cadet Inspectors, 5 did not join it willingly.. only I, this stupid kid, join it willingly. lol..
No one thought of the future then.
Sec 1 ITC was the first nightmare for all of us. The first time many of us cried in the unit.. Training was so much tough back then, early morning wake up kena pump, knuckles pumping on road somemore.. when we are just sec one..
and the dawn that we were awaken coz of the fire drill when it was still raining heavily, until all of us shivered very badly..
ATCs, Modular courses and many other courses which enriches us and build up our skills, character and leadership..
Times back then have become fond memories for the 6 of us and the rest of our squadmates.
It is the friendship that were forged, the toughness that all of us went thru together, so much so that it made me enjoy myself when i went for CCA..
In June 2006, 28 s406 cadets passed out and ROD-ed from NPCC, many pursuing their own lifestyles. But, 6 of us - Eric, Yini, Raymond, Yong hao, Kee ann and Alan made a decision to willingly sacrifice their holiday and go for CIBTC.
Unfortunately, only 3 were chosen for the December course and the other 3 held on to their passion and went for the June course the following year.

And so, this is how the 6 CIs were "produced".. with the common aim of bringing up the standards of the unit, and pass on the passion and knowledge to our juniors and cadets.
The 2 years, or rather one and a half year, of CI-ship wasn't easy for us at all.
Faced with new set of discipline and regulations, we had to bring up the standard and maintain the discipline at the same time.
Despite this, we constantly look for new methods to enforce discipline in the cadets, some to no avail.
At the end of my CI-ship, i'm glad to say that I had tried my best, the rest is totally up to the cadets.
To the cadets, the only way to learn new things is to first step out of ur comfort zone.
Treasure your time with ur squadmates and do not waste ur 3 and a half years in NPCC..
My favourite quote: "Do not give up when the night is at its darkest, for it's awhile to dawn"
CI(NPCC/RET) Wong Jin Hui Eric
WCI(NPCC/RET) Ong Yi Ni & WCI(NPCC) Chia Cai Bin Angel
Above- CI(NPCC/RET) Wong Yong Hao
Below- CI(NPCC/RET) Chua Kee Ann
CI(NPCC/RET) Lim Jia Hao Raymond
To the 5 retired CIs and WCI, a very big THANK YOU to each and every single one of you.
From unit activities to promotion tests and Area Training Camp, the planning job and execution job will not be possible without all your help, esp the area camp last year. Thanks to eric and yini for helping me to coordinate the whole camp, and thanks to the rest for helping out in one way or another.
It's really wonderful and pleasant to be able to go through this CI-ship with u guys.
Like what yini says,
"You can take the cadet out of RVNP, but You cannot take RVNP out of the cadet"
Dunno whether i phrase it correctly or not.. :P
but wad it means is "Once a RVNP cadet, forever a RVNP cadet"
080808 - We left RV NPCC unit, with Honour and Glory!
