haha, dat was wad my whole platoon was singing when we are on our way out of the camp..
there's just one word to describe our feelings at that moment..
SHIOK!!!
seriously, it doesn't feel good being confined for 2 weeks though ppl inside are real nice..
have nice buddies....
have nice platoonmates..
nice food......
BUT!!!!
most of the time i'll still think of my family and best friends outside the camp..
some busy with their work, some trging hard in tekong and some enjoying themselves at home..
during this 2 weeks...
whenever i'm free or injured or sick, i'll think of all of u..
but sometimes it's really hard to keep all the illness and injuries to urself in order not to let ur parents worry....
one day before my bdae, i sprained my ankle quite badly, plus the fever, cough and flu that i'm having since the first day of camp, and the skin tear after a rope burn,
it really feels terrible....
but still the OC was right, at this point of time, if we still tell ur parents abt all these things and make them worry, den we can will always be reliant on them...
so i didn't tell anyone in the outside world abt this, only my buddy and platoonmates noe abt this..
in fact many do care for me, which makes me feel really glad that i'm in this platoon where everyone is so warm-hearted...
and soon, this terrible feeling faded off...
but of coz the flu and cough persists even till today...
grrr........feel like dying everytime i cough man...
alot of interesting things happen during the bmt which i think if i write here, i wun be able to finish by tonight...
i can only say that the 2 weeks of confinement for commando bmt was alright for me...
of coz the first few days were not easy for me since i haven't been training myself for quite sometime and being a recruit is totally different from being a CI, so i took a few days to tune in to the millitary lfestyle...
after that it was alright, PT was interesting everyday but real shagged...
learnt how to overcome SOC...cleared my weapon test...
can only say that if u have a positive attitude, everyday is a learning day for u...
dats how i feel these 2 weeks la...
but the tough part will some after the CNY where all the tests are near and the outfield camp at tekong...
after booking out today, my dad fetched me up and we went to jp to buy phones, one for my mum and one for himself, but mine is still way better than theirs!!! wahahaha!!!! :P
after that went to swensons for lunch since they wan to make up for my lonely bdae in camp..lol..
it was also the first time my dad brought us to a restuarant and eat, feels really good..
den went home to fix my new modem before leaving for rvnp officers reunion dinner at queensway...
after the "lou hei" and dinner, we went to a hong kong restaurant at anchor point for "supper"
ordered some dim sum and the iced yuan yang which tasted alot like milk tea..lol..
we sat and chat till around 11:30pm before we leave the place and go home...
quite a fruitful day for me though i'm like real tired now...
the 6km route march in the morn nearly killed my legs man, lucky today is the book out day, if not i'll find ways to relax myself man..
