Today is both a sad day and a happy day for me. I shall tok about the sad thing, and i'm sure many of u might have known it by now. Yep, Addy has left us today, she flew to UK to study liao, one good friend left us liao, feeling very sad, dunno how's life in lifeguardz will be like without this friend. But i'm sure even if she's not with us physically, she will always be part of our lifeguard corps, once a friend, forever a friend. Adeline, good luck in ur studies dere and dun dun dun forget to keep in contact with us alright? take care too, all of us will miss u very muh...^^(haha, learn this funny expression from yi ting =P)
alright, shant be so sad, life had to go on anw...and YEP!!! here comes the good news....ACJC CSI TEAM 1 WON THE 4TH POSITION IN THE INTER-JC CSI COMPETITION...kae, shall feed in the details slowly...
ytd was the day of comp, we gathered at yew tee mrt station coz the spf has kindly arrange buses to fetch us to the HTA(Home Team Academy). haha, before the day of comp, we never talk much to each other coz we dun even noe one another, but during the bus trip to HTA, we start chatting and i realise that in our team, 4 were from NP and they went to the place once,one was a SI in his previous sec sch, one was a CIT for a short period of time and not to mention me and ji peng..can say that at that point of time, we thought that this could be an advantage for us coz of the familiarity of the place but was quite surprised to know that NPCC act send 6 CIs to take part of the comp too...oh my, they confirm will know the place better than us one lor, somemore all are HQ helpers, 3 CIIs somemore sia...total ownage!!! but but but....so what? what is needed in the comp is a person's wits and mental strengths..talking about this, must say something man...the comp is really a challenge to us manx, start at 10.30 and end at 3..sian....
kae...before the start of the comp, we had two lectures which comprises of the lesson on how to handle a crime scene, wad are the tools used for which evidence, how to use it,and of course how the technology crime are being solved. Also,we were briefed on how the comp is like, it has 3 compulsory crime scenes whereby the duration at each scene is 15mins,before the start of the comp, we had to solve a quiz to get the location of our first crime scene, and after each crime scene, we had to deposit our evidence at either the forensic lab or the technology crime forensic lab. The first scene for our group was at the park at blk 12, haha, went dere and saw blood on the floor, and a few evidence here and dere, so we put on our gloves and split up to collect and detect evidence. Den when all the evidence are collected and sealed up, Nicholas took a photo of it and i wrote down all the evidence that we had, after that we ran straight to the forensic lab to deposit the evidence and from dere, we know our second location which is AT THE RANGE!!! damn far away can, and we didnt walk dere but RUN dere lor...and when we reach dere, we wore our gloves and start searching for evidence again, den the same thing happens, and the last crime scene was at one of the training sheds at the stadium, finally we saw the victim, who is dead, and dere goes our lead, but nvm, from all the evidence report that we got back, we started to investigate on the case. It was classified as the murder case, kae, shall skip the interviewing part with the family and friends of the victim.
kae, in this murder case, there is a love triangle which involve these 3 ppl named Ah Seng, Ah Teng(the girl) and Ah Hwee(the deceased). Ah Seng love Ah Teng but was rejected by her coz she like Ah Hwee, ya, den Ah Seng also found out that Ah Hwee cheated all his money and also claimed that he stole his girlfriend, so Ah Seng employed Ah Hua, who borrowed $100k from him, to kill Ah Hwee. yep...but we couldnt find evidence to determine that Ah Hua was the killer coz the only blood, other than Ah Hwee's one, was Ah Chong's blood, which after much investigation and deduction was discovered that both Ah Chong and Ah Hua were twins, so they have the same blood and coz Ah Hua is always a good boy and Ah Chong is always a bad boy who has criminal record, so we can only determine that the blood is Ah Chong's one, but act is Ah Hua's, yep, so we went on to nab Ah Hua after all the evidence which we have gathered are against him. and yup, we solved the crime, write the report and submit everything. We were damn happy when we finally nabbed the culprit and came up with a well-written report. BUT, everything end at 4.30 instead of 3.
Yup, and so, we only had 4 hours of sleep and after breakfast, we had to rush to Police Cantonment Centre at Outram for our prize presentation. There, we saw alot of Superintendents and Assistant Commissioner of Police as well as the Guest of Honour, Deputy Commissioner of Police. damn cool man. yup, and so, the answers were revealed and finally the moment had come for the announcement of the results. we were damn nervous at that time, den when they start to read out the names of the sch to collect the cert of participation and when we were about to stand up, they called team 2 instead of my team which is team 1, and so we know that we are in the top 10, and so after waiting and being nervous for so long, it was announced that ACJC EMERGED AS THE 3RD RUNNER-UP OF THIS YEAR CSI COMP!!!! yea, finally we brought honour and glory for the sch, but miss lisa lee told me to prepare a speech for the presentation of medals by the sch principal when sch reopens, sian, my eng is not very good la rite...ask me prepare speech...GG!!!! wadeva it is, it's definitely a very valuable experience that no one can understand besides those who particiapte in the comp and the police. after the ceremony, we got our CSI t-shirts which was damn cool and all of us change to it straight after we got it. and during lunch, we talk to the deputy commissioner of police and even took group and individual photo with him, it's an honour man, so cool....we also had a talk with the assistant director of home team scholarship and he told us to email him and keep in contact with him so that if there's any updated news on the scholarships or events held in the spf or visits to various departments, he can invite us down to have a look and explain to us...woooo....dat's sth very very honourable sia....
yep, i must thank each and every one in this team who contribute to the final report and gathering of evidence. thanks guys! also, haha, must thank my mei oso, she sort of gave me some encouragement and motivation for the comp, thanks xiao mei!! haha..."CSI 2007: The Real Search"....Bye Bye
