hahax...i'm back from the kinabalu trip..hmm, can say that it was an eye-opener for me but it's oso a terrible experience as well. first day i was damn excited coz i was looking forward to the trip. my uncle fetch me, yini and eric to the airport, at first the three of us thought that we are the earliest, but we were wrong sia, coz the sec 3s were already there having their breakfast at BK...oh my, wonder why they reach there so early, hmm, den we went to get some things to eat, den came mr oh, with his super big and long backpack and a mini bag. den we went to the counter there and saw mr chua who is going on the trip with us. at first, we thought that it could be a bad thing but act i think he's still ok la...
took alot of photos when we were making our way to the aircraft, den they keep saying that i look like a sua ku, hey come on manx...that's my first time manx, wad's wrong with it?!! grrr....nvm, den went into the aircraft, woohoo, cool manx..like the part when it takes off, though it may be abit rocky, but after that, when u see the country below u and all the clouds, oh my....it's damn cool....haha...when we reached brunei and kota kinabalu airport den i realise that our airport is soooo much better than theirs manx...but ar, can say that the trip to kota kinabalu was damn eventful, with ming jie losing his hp and sharman not being able to get back her luggage coz it was still at changi airport...haix...nvm, den we took a bus ride to a seafood restaurant to have our dinner, haix...i cant eat seafood that is served outside la coz my stomach is too weak for such food, but i cant afford to skip my dinner wad, so had to eat abit...den went to our hostel to sleep. must admit that the serivce of the hostel is very good, especially the man at the reception counter, he looks so cute....haha...mei you la, act it's the way he talks dat makes him cute...den staying dere makes me feel like i'm at home...=D
second morning, we woke up and had our breakfast before taking a 2hr bus ride to the national park...the weather was much cooler than spore manx, though it was very sunny but i didnt perspire at all, den on our way dere, we had a bowl of tom yam maggi mee served at a stall by the roadside....was quite nice la, but i didnt drink much of the soup..den when we reach the HQ, it was a;ready 10+, den after keeping our passports and luggage there, we took a van to the foot of mount kinabalu and dere, we get our 'name card' and den we proceed with the climbing of mount kinabalu!!! ok, at the first 2km, i was very enthu, together with the guide and khin yin, we climbed quite fast la, but after that, when we stop at the second hut for our lunch, i couldnt eat much and started to feel like vomitting, den my diarrhoea came...it was real bad, every restpoint that we stop i had to make my way to the toilet manx and i just keep releasing it throughout the journey, maybe its coz of the seafood and the tom yam noodle that make it so worse...haix..when i reach the restaurant near our sleeping place, i just lay flat on the table and too weak to eat or drink, only ate a few mouths of food and drank one bowl of soup for my dinner...sian...it was so so so terrible that i started to think of my mum and her...almost cried out manx coz was hoping so much that they could be just right beside of me, arghhhh....horrible feeling...when i reach the sleeping place, i just went straight to my bed and slept, den mr chua was like comforting me and asking me if i need some of his warm clothing...that really made me feel slightly better, thanks mr chua...though he may do things that we dun like, but at least i feel that he cares for his students and in the middle of the night, he pull up the blanket for me, i knew it was him coz at that time i was still semi-conscious...
den the next morning when they went to climb to the summit, i did not follow, coz i cant even get off the bed, my legs were just so weak and every now and then, i will feel giddy...den after they went off, i started to have diarrhoea again, it was worse than the previous day...haix...around 7+, they came back from their climb, only pei wen and yi ling made it to the summit, congratulations to them, to the rest, good job! at least u all tried to climb up to the summit, not like me...haha...
after a light breafast, all of us made our way down to the foot of the mountain, at first heard that there was packed lunch, but the stupid tour guide went down first and did not care about us, ask him where is our lunch, he says he is eating and will send the porters to get it for us AND WE HAVE TO PAY THEM!!!! wad the...irresponsible guy manx...by the time we had our lunch, it was 5+ and in a few hours' time, we will be having our dinner, wad's the point of having a lunch at that time...haix...
there are just too much of things we want to complain about the tour guide but dun worry, mr oh and mr chua will do it...he's dead manx...wahahhax...
haix...had diarrhoea for 21 times in 4 days...the worst diarrhoea i ever had in my entire life manx..went to see the doc and he say is coz my stomach is not used to the food overseas dats why cant adapt to it...at least after having the medicine, i am feeling slightly better now liao, but was quite disappointed for not being able to go and help out in the lifesaving test ytd...but heard from ji peng that all of them pass!!! well done manx...we can have a celebration soon!!! woohooo....the next cert will be our BM & CPR cert...let's chiong for it, haha, but meanwhile, let's focus our last week on revision ba...jiayoux...
